Opened in 2019 beside the historic townscape of Yuasa, the birthplace of soy sauce. It makes wine from Japanese grapes, including contract growers in Yamanashi, and umeshu and fruit wines from Wakayama’s Nanko plums, mikan and yuzu. A winemaker with about 40 years’ experience ferments and ages in French oak.
